I joined in 2021 with little more than a logo. I built the brand system, owned the marketing design, and led the landing page redesign that became the company's base.

FanTeam is Scout Gaming's fantasy sports and betting product. This is the brand and marketing work from my years there. My title was UX/UI Designer, but with my background I ended up owning the brand and the marketing design too, and grew into a design lead role. I built the brand system and led the landing redesign in my first year, 2021, and grew into the marketing over time, fully taking it over from 2024.
When I joined in 2021, FanTeam had a logo and not much else. There was no real brand system, and the product team barely worked with the freelance designers who made the marketing.
I had never liked the look-and-feel. So when I got the chance, I set out to fix it from the ground up.
I pushed the brand forward on three fronts at once, well beyond what the job title asked for.
I built FanTeam's first real brand guidelines: a green-led palette, a type system, logo rules, and usage across web and mobile. Something the team could actually follow.
From the guidelines document

The old marketing graphics were inconsistent, made by rotating freelancers with no shared system. I set the direction with templates early on, and from 2024 I fully took over the graphics myself, rebuilding them into one bold, consistent system across every ad size, sport, and campaign.

The old fanteam.com was dated and desktop-first. I pushed for a modern, mobile-first redesign and led the whole project: information architecture, wireframes and layout across iteration rounds with stakeholders, close collaboration with developers, and the final implementation.

The redesign, section by section
A page that ran deep, from the ways to play to featured tournaments, a winner story, how to play, and the community. Mobile was the priority, so that is where it was designed first.

And on desktop

Reused and themed
Finished in 2021, the page became the base we reused across the product. It was themed for campaigns and other branches, like the Euro 2024 tournaments and sportsbook offers.

A fresh set of App Store screens to match the new brand, telling the FanTeam story at a glance.

This is the work that set FanTeam's visual standard: the first real brand system, a marketing output that finally looked like one company, and a landing page that stayed the base for years. None of it was in my job description. Doing it anyway is what took me from designing screens to owning how the whole product presents itself.
Separately, I led the recent rebuild of the FanTeam product itself, designed with AI at the core of the process. That one is its own story: FanTeam platform redesign.
